Diálogo In Driving School

Instructor: ¡Hola a todos! Hoy van a estudiar sobre las intersecciones en el capítulo 14 del libro y van a tener una prueba oral.

(Instructor: Hello everyone! Today, you are going to study intersections in chapter 14 of the book and you are going to have an oral test).

Domingo: Siento llegar tarde, profesora. Estaba trabajando y acabo de terminar una clase. ¿Podría repetir lo que ha enseñado hasta ahora?

Domingo: Sorry I am late, teacher. I was working and I just finished a lesson. Could you repeat what you have taught so far?

Maestro: No puedo repetir ahora, pero después de terminar la clase, te puedes quedar 10 minutos más y te explico lo que ya he explicado.

teacher: I can’t repeat it just now, but you can stay behind for 10 minutes after class and I will explain to you what I have already explained. diálogos

Instructor: Aquí te dejo los links para que vayas practicando en línea.

Domingo: Gracias, profe. Por cierto, el link que nos envió ayer por WhatsApp no lo pude abrir. ¿Podría decirme de qué se trataba?

Domingo: Thank you, teacher. By the way,  I couldn’t open the link you sent us yesterday on WhatsApp. Could you tell me what it was about?

Instructor: Yo les envié ese link para que ingresaran sus datos personales que luego serán escritos en sus futuras licencias de conducir.

Instructor: I sent you that link for you to enter your personal data that will then be written on your future driver’s licenses.

Domingo: Eso es muy importante. ¿Podría enviármelo de nuevo? ¿Hasta cuándo tengo tiempo para registrar mis datos? 

Domingo: That’s very important. Could you send it to me again? How long do I have to register my information?

Instructor: Más tarde te lo envío. Tienes dos semanas para registrar tus datos. Cuanto antes, mejor. La semana que viene, voy a la oficina principal de la autoescuela y si tengo todos los datos de ustedes, los entregaré de una vez. 

Instructor: Later, I will send it to you. You have two weeks to register your information. The sooner, the better. Next week, I am going to the main office of the driving school. And if I have all your information, I will deliver it.

Domingo: Okey, profe. Voy a registrarme lo más pronto posible. Cuanto más rápido entregue los datos, más rápido tendremos nuestras licencias.

Domingo: Okay, teacher. I am going to enroll my data as soon as possible. The sooner you deliver it, the sooner we have our driver’s licenses. 

Diálogo parte 2 EN EL KIOSKO

(diálogos)

Al salir de la autoescuela, pasé por el kiosko para transferir dinero a mi tarjeta de crédito.

Upon leaving the driving school, I went through the newsagent’s in order to transfer money to my credit card.

Luego, encontré a una amiga con la que trabajé en un restaurante y tenía mucho tiempo sin verla. Le dije: “¡Cuánto tiempo sin verte!”  Y ella me respondió: “También digo lo mismo, ¿dónde estabas y qué hacías?”

Then, I ran into a friend of mine who I used to work with at a restaurant. I hadn’t seen her for a long time. I said: Long time no see! and she answered: “Likewise, where have you been? What have you been up to?

Pues, yo he estado muy ocupado estudiando y trabajando. Ella me preguntó: “¿Trabajando? ¿En dónde?” En este pueblo no se consigue trabajo. Yo le dije que soy profesor de español e inglés para una escuela alemana.

Well, I have been busy working and studying. She asked me: “Working? Where?” In this town it’s difficult to find a job. I told her I am a Spanish and English teacher at a German school.

No sé qué pasó, pero después que le dije eso, ella cambió de cara, de humor y me dijo: ¿Qué haces aquí? ¿Vas a transferir dinero? -Supongo que supo a lo que iba porque tenía mi tarjeta en la mano-. Yo le dije que sí.

I don’t know what happened, but after saying that, her face and mood changed: “What are you doing here? Are you going to transfer money?” she asked. 

-I suppose she knew why I was there because I had my credit card in my hand. I said: “Yes”  (más diálogos Aquí)

Rápido, hice la transferencia y me despedí como alma que lleva el diablo.

Like a bat out of hell, I made my transfer and said goodbye.
